The brief
As part of the TLC’s global refresh, we were asked to create a set of idents to air on all international feeds. Our aim was to deliver the essence of a TLC story, in that moment of relatability, of sass, of OMG. We also needed these to be generic enough to be used across the world.

The solution
Each ident has a ‘wink’ to our viewers, sharing that TLC moment with them and lifting their spirit. We decided to reflect the key genres of the channel with a little TLC twist: Weddings, Families, Relationships (under pressure), Body Transformations and Home Makeovers. The stories are told through objects and the signature TLC chiclets.
